Borodin, Alexei Ivanovich (1915-2004)
Painter, author of political posters. A brilliant representative of the Volga school of arts.
He graduated from the Saratov art-промышленный College (1936). Lived and worked in Saratov, he taught at the Saratov art College. In 1962-м moved to Volgograd.
Honored artist of the RSFSR (1967).
Works are in state Tretyakov gallery, the Volgograd Museum of fine arts and in several regional museums.
Collection of posters of the artist is in the collections of the Russian state library (RSL, Moscow).
