"Comasco" today is the only Russian contemporary art fair. No one else did. And for this alone the organizers deserve respect.

The work done is huge. And see, of course, there is something.

But.

What we expect from contemporary art fair? Diversity and innovative works. As well as first and second names. To direct to come and sigh. And that's not okay. Design of stands, design, project, quality hanging and other attributes of expensive feed is by and large conventional collectors on the drum. That is fine if it's all there. But not the point exactly.

Heard that this year Cosmoscow imposed a limit of "one gallery – no more than two artists." It probably gave more order, discourage the desire to hang out all the bins and gave a neat appearance. On the other hand likely to get into a niche audience has decreased dramatically. And opportunities to sell, probably, too. And overall, those who remember defunct Art-Moscow, diversity is just not enough. And crazy too.

Liked: archive with Tony Matelli and Chubarov, Savina with Kawarga (steep reliefs), neftekompany in the Gallery 11.12, Sergey Karev from East gallery, Kazakh artists. Overall, this time most looked the sculpture.

Wow! And if anyone had photos of this work? Million euros means a local sensation. Still the most expensive graphics Kabakov were his albums that could reach the price 450 000 - 500 000 $. Even painting only 4 passed the milestone of 1 million.

With a million euros, there is an assumption that just made a mess in the press. The most expensive sheet Kabakov (not an album but a sheet) at auction is a lot over 29 000$. on the London Phillips in 2010. Was also at the Dorotheum for 17 000$. In RUB it 1,15 - 2 million rubles. Although since then much water has flowed under the bridge.

That's nothing to you. Advertising is really not enough, but there's people with mustaches, you know what you're doing. The security is in Gostiny Dvor serious, things are expensive and private, there likely was not. Yes and not provoke anything. This, incidentally, is the main gripe.
