Chodar Vasily Dmitrievich
1918 – 1989
Famous Ukrainian painter, master of landscape and still life.
Born November 25, 1918 in the village of Krasny Yar, Odessa region. In 1939 he graduated from the Perm state art school in 1941, he studied at the Kiev art Institute, S. Grigoriev, F. Mikheeva, E. Shuisky.
Since 1946 he participated in Republican and all-Union exhibitions, individual exhibitions were held in 1946, 1962 and 1982.
Member of the National Union of artists of Ukraine.
The title of honored artist of Ukraine was awarded in 1982.
