Biography

Lydia Nikolaevna - member of Union of artists of the RSFSR (1970). Honored artist of Russia (1998). He studied at the Sverdlovsk art College (1955-60), industrial art to them. V. I. Mukhina (1962-67). Thesis – decorative stained glass for beauty salon in Leningrad. From 1965 Lydia Skorobogatov participates in regional, zonal, Republican exhibitions .
In collaboration with Edward Iodinium Lydia Skorobogatov has created a mosaic mural in Penza: "V. I. Lenin" on the Avenue of Victory (1972), "the Penza Polytechnic" (1977), "Childhood" for kindergarten № 136 (1982), "Art" for the facade of the College of culture and arts (1987), etc.; stained glass for interiors of the hotel "Lastochka" (1973); sanatorium "birch grove" (1984), kindergarten No. 134 (1985), administrative building carpool No. 5 (1988); memorable sign "Emelyan Pugachev" (1982).
Other works of Lydia Skorobogatova: sculptural and decorative composition "Surcie dawn" (1974, Penza Art Gallery), "Youth" (1976, PG), "Kalinka", "Premiere" (both 1977, PG), "cherry blossoms" (1979, PG), "Lesnaya Skazka" (1980, all-Russia Museum of decorative-applied art), "Autumn loaf" (1984, PG, MC RF), "hostile Whirlwinds" (1988, MK RF), "Autumn bouquet" (1985, PG), "Wind", "Night talk" (both 1989, IAP), "Family", "Bride" (both 1993, IAP), etc. Chairman of the Penza of the Union of artists of the RSFSR (1980-86). Teacher in PHU (1969 – 1977, 1992).
