In 1952 he graduated from the Repin Institute of arts named after I. E. Repin, Boris Ioganson workshop. He studied with Boris Fogel, Semion Abugov, Genrikh Pavlovsky, Michael Platonov, Alexander Zaytsev. Participant of exhibitions since 1953. Member of the Leningrad Union of artists since 1954. He painted portraits, landscapes, still lifes, genre paintings. Personal exhibitions in Belgorod (1981) and Leningrad (1984). Works Kozlovskaya are in museums and private collections in Russia, France, Germany, Japan and other countries.
