One of the brightest representatives of contemporary Italian painting can be called the St. Petersburg artist Novel Lyapina. Multiple winner of 1st, 2nd, 3rd degree regular competitions of Tuscany and Lazio, the nominee of the Grand Prix in the competition "Landscape nature" in Altipiane d Arcinazzo 1996, the artist is a happy artist's life. Primarily a landscape painter who began his career in Leningrad in Leningrad. V. I. Mukhina, the artist since the early 1990s more than a dozen years he lived and taught in Italy. In Rome, the cradle of the arts, it becomes a unique master of Leningrad and Roman schools (Accademia di Belle Art di Roma). During all cycles of the Italian and later the St. Petersburg landscapes, works by Lyapina imbued with deep inner unity is expressive, easy, energetic paintings, written in a bold hand. The canons of the academic school, founded the artist at a very young age, predispose the viewer to rethink and recall the work of William Turner and Jean honoré Fragonard, however, a modern interpretation of the architectural vedutas makes his paintings unique and innovative. Virtuoso skills in the use of light and color in the landscape emphasize the brevity of each compositional ideas. The ability to combine modern life of the city and its historical past, to identify an abstract component, to transmit to the minute state of the natural environment, its romantic beginning is an important, fascinating aspect of all the artist's paintings.
