Pectin Valentin Alexandrovich( 1920-2006). Born in 1920.In 1937 he graduated from Ryazan art College. In 1945 he enrolled in the painting Department of the Leningrad Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named after I. E. Repin, he studied with Boris Fogel, Genrikh Pavlovsky, Semion Abugov, Andrei Mylnikov, Victor Oreshnikov. In 1952 V. Pectin was invited to the Studio of marine painters Navy.In 1963, Pectin headed the Studio.Pictures of V. A. Pegatina decorate expositions of many Russian and foreign museums. Honored artist of Russia.
