Akhremchik Ivan Osipovich (I.) 1903-1971
People's artist of the BSSR (1949). In the 1944-48 chairman of the Board of the Union of Artists of the BSSR. He taught at the Vitebsk Art School (1931-40), Minsk Art School (1948-53) among the students: PV Maslennikov, M. Savitsky, etc.
