Unknown Paintings / Painter
 

Hi Everybody,

I have one painting Oil on canvas 1,1 x 1,3 meter. The paintings shows Soldiers on ship Aurora before the beginn of the Oktober Revolution 1917. Radiotransmission Equipment could be identified as one used before 1924.

The Painting is not signed. There was a plaque on frame but it was lost.

Is this painting a copy of one well known painting or it is a original?
Who created this Painting?

The paintings is old and partly need restauration. I bought it from gallery which offers many russian , interesting paintings.

I compared the image of M. Korotkova from internet with the painting itself. They seems to be the same.

Why do you think that it is not original?

This is a copy of the artist's lover,as it is even correct to srisawat failed.

The painting captures the moment of transmission by radio with the "Aurora" written by V. I. Lenin appeal "To the citizens of Russia!". It was October 25, 1917. Thanks to this radiogram Europe learned about the Bolshevik revolution in Russia.
