Having worked in the Tretyakov Gallery for over a quarter century, Ekaterina Selezneva came to the conclusion that not every museum worker is able to become the custodian. To come to the profession and stay there for many years, requires special type of character, the rest can be learned.

- What is the custodian of the priceless feel? To this one can get used?

- No, get used to it impossible. It seems to me that I must pay a gallery, but it is not me, because I have the right to come every day to the museum, located in it, even when it is closed, to interact with works of art as only communicate with collectors. But I always ask myself the question: "What I done to deserve this right?" After a tremendous responsibility. Such liability even nature spoils.
