Kerzhner Alexander Jascalevich (1912 - 1981)

Ukrainian painter. He was born in, Tulchin, Vinnytsia region. He studied at the HIC (1932 - 1941 and 1945 - 1946) at the point of Volokitina, S. Grigoriev and A. Shovkunenko. Participated in Republican and all-Union exhibitions since 1947. lived and worked in Kiev. Memorial exhibition of the artist was held in Kiev in 1985. He became known as a master of still life, wrote a themed paintings, landscapes and portraits.
