Ia A. Kirillov (R. 1928) is one of the most significant artists of St. Petersburg of his generation, a member of the legendary unofficial exhibitions 70-ies and 80-ies, as well as participated in all exhibitions of the Mitki group from 1984 to 2005. In 2001, the AI Kirillova held a major solo exhibition at the State Russian Museum, organized by the Department of contemporary art.
Although mainly Kirillov engaged in painting, in some canvases 1980-ies noticeable attraction artist to colagiovanni, included in the surface of the oil painting of colored paper or pieces of foil. In recent years this trend has led to the creation of a large independent series of collages of colored paper, large part of which was shown at the jubilee exhibition AI Alexeevna in the Museum "Tsarskoselskaya collection" in 2008.
Refined and slightly ironic series of paper collages "Defile" was inspired by impressions from television shows of Haute couture. This series of 10 sheets was created in 2010 as an exclusive order Studio "B&f".
