The painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

In 1930 he graduated from painting Department of the Higher art school at the Association of artists of Revolutionary Russia (AKhRR), studied with I. I. Mashkov and p. P. Sokolov-Skal. Work M Kesler was exhibited since 1927, the first student and youth, and then annually at the all-Union, Republican, thematic and other exhibitions. First solo exhibition, organized by the Ministry of culture of the USSR and the Union of artists of the USSR, held in Moscow in 1977. This exhibition later in the course of 7 years was exhibited in 27 cities of the Soviet Union.

The main genres of creativity of the artist - landscape and still life.

The work of M. L. Kesler are in the collections of many Russian and foreign museums.
