Moscow Metro will become a museum
35 watercolors from the Russian Museum in the exhibition will include a train station
Reproductions of 35 watercolor works from the Russian Museum from May 13 will include in the exposure of the Moscow subway train "Watercolor," which runs on Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line. The project will last six months, reports Lenta.ru with reference to a press release the St. Petersburg museum. For the exhibition in metro carriages Russian Museum selected watercolor works by Ilya Repin, Isaak Levitan, Charles and Alexander Briullov, Nicholas Roerich and other artists. To train the new exhibition "Watercolors" Metro will release a collector's tickets: they will sell from 13 May. |
