Academician of painting, the honored worker of arts of Belarus, Minsk honorary citizen Leonid Shchemelev 5 February 2013 celebrated its 90th anniversary. [B]February 5, 2013 in the National art Museum held a Grand opening jubilee exhibition of paintings and drawings by Leonid Dmitrievich Schemelev "the Artist and time", dedicated to the 90th anniversary master@

To congratulate the artist on the anniversary came the culture Minister Boris Svetlov and Deputy Chairman of Minsk city Executive Committee Igor Karpenko, and diplomats, colleagues, admirers of the talent of the master.

At the opening of the exhibition was attended by the priest of the Holy Trinity Alexander Nevsky Lavra in St. Petersburg), Archimandrite Vitaly (Radomyslsky).

The exhibition presents about 150 paintings and drawings.
