VB Shmitko was born in 1935 in Voronezh. Member of the Artists Union of Russia (since 1983). In 1960 he graduated from Ryazan Art School, then in 1967 by Art Department of the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. Personal exhibition of the artist held in several cities, including in 1991 in Moscow in the CHA. The works of the artist are held in many collections.
