Russian on Hagelstam
Helsinki auction to Hagelstam put on their trades on December 13, the collection of painting of the Soviet period, obtained by the auction house entirely for sale.
The collection has an impeccable provenance the collection was purchased under the trade between Finland and the USSR in the field of pulp and paper industry. The current owner has a collection since 2006. The current auction is 18 outstanding works of Soviet artists with interesting, in my opinion, estimate. Detailed information on the lots here. |
Don't know about flawless origin, but with Zverev would be very careful...

On a tip from Cyril Syzran, went on auction in Helsinki. Marketplace auction is located in the city centre, 10 min walk from railway station, near the store Stockmann. Going on listed on the auction site address by ten o'clock I mistakenly taxied into the open space of some galleries, located on the ground floor, and an employee of the gallery, when he learned the purpose of my visit kindly walked me to a nearby parade, explaining that the auction is located on the second floor. On the second floor of a residential building. It seems there was an apartment. Sweetheart Finnish Granny was registered me. Any documents I have to show for it was not necessary. The lots were hung and arranged in the "bathroom" and "corridors". The auction was held in the great hall. According to an employee of the auction they have another site where they sell things cheaper. The auction itself consisted of two parts: Modern (beginning at 11:00) & Classic (continued after the break 14:30). Lots sold in the first part were divided into categories: Glass, Ceramics.... and so I was interested in the category International & Soviet art. The results of the auction on the website. My percentage of good care... at least 40%.

Zverev "female Portrait", C/m - I is a very interesting lot. Went to the buyer "on the phone" for 4600 euros. The initial application was 4200. On the second lot Zverev, "Church" was a proposal for a 1000 Euro, but the rate has not passed.
p.s. The seat next to the portrait went for 7200 estimé 2500. |

Hagelstam
Again not happened money, otherwise they would have returned to the country and Tatiana Nazarenko, and Andrew Tutunova (work). Rates were symbolic (by the standards of the internal market). Someone says that we have a ceiling price, so the market dropped. But look at the care of the drawing Picasso linocuts -
the most expensive (edition of 50 copies) was sold for 40,000 euros (without a fee AD). Left and other linocuts author at good prices. And look at the work of Andrei Andreevich Tutunova "the Lost island" - this is the legend of the city of Kitezh, but with elements of the socialist reality! And it's 1969! Here is a prophet in his own country. At his personal exhibition for the 80th anniversary at the Academy of arts, his friend Viktor Ivanovich Ivanov said. what Andrei Andreyevich "Levitan vision of nature". The passage of this that we (who is we?) do not dare to believe that the potential of the Soviet art is enormous, both in terms of demand, and monetary plan. PS. I'm not comparing Picasso and Tutunova, trying to convey something else, so those who everywhere shaking, scratching, do not rush to answer. With the sun still better than without it. Agree, eh? |

Yes "great interest to the Soviet art" only in words, but as it touches the material reality - Nazarenko nobody bought Nazarenko, although there start were a thousand Euro (Central Bank rate on December 13, was 70 rubles), as Titanova. I this subject, I confess, specially created for you lovers of art of the Soviet period, buy: from Peter to the auction 390 km - bus from the hotel "Oktyabrskaya" for 6 hours and 800 rubles will take. |
Hagelstam
I Hagelstam since 2007, a couple of times the auction house returned me money for work that Moscow was not confirmed (in the catalogs they had authorship). When I wrote about the itch, then, of course, and you had including. Deservedly. I write about the potential value of Russian art in the first place, and not about selling in today's situation. Russian should buy the Russians, this belief-and it will confirm the time. Those who do not know Ananiev bought a sketch "In the cafe "Greek" Victor Ivanov for 39 000 days (without a fee AD). .
