Selling the work of Oscar Petrovich Mariksa 1908! Perhaps the only remaining large-format canvas BSSR People's Artist of the revolutionary period.

1908 - a bold assumption, built solely on the signature on the canvas. What Mariks could write such a landscape in 18 years, I have little doubt, as You can find many examples of art history when second-year student wrote on a fully professional level (this time he was on the 2nd course of the Prague Academy of Arts). Work definitely not 1968, that can also be assumed from the same signature on the canvas, as the picture was displayed on a supposedly completely looted Nazi solo exhibition in 1941 in Minsk. And the structure of the canvas can be seen that the work is clearly very old.
From the pre-revolutionary works of this artist, I only saw those that were made during the expeditions, together with the community of architects-artists. One of these sketches, see below, the time of its creation ~ 1908-1912 year.
From all the above can be corrected dating thus:

I was sure that this picture is not to fix here and a week))) but since no one else wanted to buy a rare work Mariksa, you have to buy it myself.
And because the picture is sold for another month, for which I will replenish its treasury with the inscription "In the steep ottyag ")))), until the end of June, after which it will be in my collection. Protect from dust modern shelving, he deserves more !)))))
