Etude professional: painting and brush work. Let's see how is the modeling of the image deft brushwork.
My guess is that on the one hand have depleted verdego heavy layer (condensed) oils and varnishes, and with the other hand on top stood out excess fluid oil-solvent. To deal with this can only restorer.
