Born in 1929 s.Maisyan , Armenia.
In 1943-1947 - studied at the art school . S. Mercurov ( Leninakan) .
In 1948-1950 - studied at the Art School ( Yerevan) .
In 1951 - he was drafted into the Soviet army for military service.
In 1955 - moved to Leningrad .
In 1957-1964 - studied at the Leningrad Academy of Arts, at Yu.Neprintseva .
In 1965-1967 - he taught drawing in Leninakan school N2. In 1967 - taught at Leninakan State Pedagogical Institute . M.NALBANDYAN .
In 1968 - taught at Leninakan boarding school.
Participated in national and international group exhibitions.
1969 - lived in Yerevan.
Modern form of creative pursuits led the artist to geometric abstraction .
In 1976 - came to commenting on the new free-form , began work on large canvases " Annunciation" , "Love" , "Fight " .
1977 - participated in the exhibition " Works of 50 artists of Soviet Armenia " , Paris.
1978 - participated in the exhibition of contemporary Armenian artists , organized by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation , Lisbon.
In 1980 - created a series of portraits of " Portrait of a mother ," " Portrait of a father ," " Portrait of Minas ", " Portrait of Arshile Gorky ," " Portrait of a Daughter ," " Self-portrait ", " Armenian woman ."
1982 - participated in the exhibition "Armenian paintings and drawings" , Budapest.
1984 - participated in the exhibition "The Art of Soviet genocide" , Berlin.
In 1992 - participated in the exhibition 's private collection , London.
In 1995 - participated in the exhibition in Bochum , Germany.
In 1996 - for the painting "Disaster" I was awarded the prize at the exhibition-contest dedicated to the World Congress , organized by the UN Development Programme .
In 1997 - died in Yerevan.
His works are in the Museum of Modern Art ( Yerevan) , NGA , numerous private collections in Armenia and abroad .
