Exhibition puzzle in Paris
Yesterday visited the newly opened exhibition. Why mystery? Because in the 22 halls of the Grand Palais on the Champs Elysees collected from around the world of art "with the second bottom", so to speak. For example, a carved walking stick, sending a handle that spotlight will get a shadow in the profile view of Napoleon, or famous paintings Arcimboldo - Stere on a portrait, folded in, say, a fruit, a picture of a mirror, looking at that you see a fruit basket or landscape by Degas where you can see the "built" was uncovered, but see it only if you know what it is there. Generally, the exhibition itself - a mystery, one wonders how it managed to make the curators: they collected curiosities of all time. sculptures from Papua and Cameroon to the fragments of films of Eisenstein and Bunuel, from the artists name only Durer, Dali, Jasper Johns, Andrea Mantegna, Lorenzo Lotto, Jan Wellens de Cock, Hieronymus Bosch, Giovanni Bellini, Utagawa Konieshi, Duchamp, Mason, Max Ernst, Alberto Giacometti, Courbet, Nolde, Chelishchev, Bonnard, Gauguin, Seruze, Ensor and many, many others. In general, two hours of hard work and great fun.
