Lawyer and statesman, scientist and researcher on the history of Russian life and art history , an honorary member of the Academies of Sciences and Arts , Dmitry Rovinskii (1824-1895) was also one of the largest collectors of etchings by Russian and Western European masters. They released a number of publications on art prints and iconography.
