Austrian painter and graphic artist . Born in Vienna. He graduated from the Vienna XY , where he was a pupil of the famous master F. Army HQ . Then he studied at the Munich Academy of Arts . Many traveled to Italy and Holland. Signed various series of works pseudonyms ( known today seven of them) , such as most themed paintings by the artist signature marked «J.Wagner» etc. Engaged murals , frescoes and the author of numerous sketches for tapestries . Painted the famous monastery Stift Klosterneuburg Palace , the palace of Count Razumovsky K. and M. Wiener von Welt in Vienna. He painted portraits commissioned by the royal dynasties , including the best known portrait of Archduke Rainer von Habsburg - Lorraine , Duke of Saxe - Coburg-Gotha , Princess of Schleswig- Holstein Dora . Worked extensively in the field of book illustration. Very popular with the public use of landscape and genre compositions wizard. Represented in museum and private collections in Austria, Denmark , Italy, Holland and Germany.
