Old silver altar cross reliquary with the relics sv.muchenitsy Thais . Russian Empire , St. Petersburg, 1843 .
Materials: silver "84" sample , cypress, gesso, tempera , linen .
Technical design: molding, Chiselling engraving graver , applying niello , gilding, painting , assembling .
Size of the cross :
Height - 26 cm
Width - 14 cm
Thickness - 2.8 cm
Hallmarks: "84" sample squared city hallmark of St. Petersburg, the master list of names " F.F " assay master " D.T "
( Tver region Dmitry I. 1832-1850 ) over the date " 1843 ."
In the reliquary on the reverse side of the cross are kept intact large relics of St.. Martyr Thais .
Relic in excellent condition. RARITY !
Objects workshop are in the collection of the State Historical Museum.
