Born August 5, 1917 in Dnepropetrovsk. Full member of the Ukrainian Academy of Arts and the Academy of Arts of the USSR People's hududozhnik USSR ( 1977) , academician of the USSR Academy of Arts (1973). Member of the CPSU ( b) 1945 . Member of the war. In 1953 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (workshop M. Lysenko ) , and later taught there from 1966 Rector Inst . In 1953-1965 pp - on creative work, 1966-1973 - Chairman of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Working in the industry easel and monumental sculpture. From 1968 prev. Union of Artists Ukr.SSR . Copyright M.Schorsu monument in Kiev (1949, with M. Lysenko and M.Suhodolovym ) sculptures "Youth" (1951), " My land ! " (1957 ), " Bandurist " (1960) and other works . One of the authors of the memorial complex "Museum of the Great Patriotic War " in Kiev (1981). Winner of Len . etc. (1984). This sculpture was donated by the sculptor shivering VI
