I think that the author's intention is interesting, multi-faceted, but, in my opinion, this plan would better reflect not the shape, and the very cut off from the figures of the head. Of course, there's work immeasurably more, but the author's presentation of ideas is not exactly correspond to the figures, but the head: face, eyes, twist of the neck ... Big plans, details ... And at this moment completely irrelevant motion of the body, hands. This is the usual mechanical action, but the person ... is another matter.
