Painter, landscape , printmaker . He studied at the Moscow School of Painting at the AN Mokritskiy ( 1852-56 gg.) , Then at the Academy at SM Vorobyov ( 1856-60 gg.) . Retired Arts in Germany and Switzerland (1862 - 1865). Since 1865 - Academician , 1873 - Professor of Arts ; VHU led landscape workshop at the Academy of Arts ( 1894-95 ) . Founding member TPHV .
