People's Artist of the Uzbek SSR.
One of the brightest representatives of Russian avant-garde.
In the years 1919 -1921 . studied at the edge of the Turkestan art school in Tashkent at the AV Isupova , SP Yudin. In 1921, he was drafted into the Red Army , after demobilization he taught drawing at the Turkmen Teachers College (1925 - 1934) , then led a painting course at the Tashkent Art School ( 1934 - 1941). He was a member of the Tashkent branch AHRR ( 1926-1929 ) . He worked together with R. Falk , A. Volkov , M. Kurzin . Exhibitions since 1928 personal exhibitions were held in Tashkent (1960 , 1965 , 1981). His works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, Karahan (Moscow), the Art Museum of. Savitsky and in other regional museum collections and private collections in Russia and abroad.
