Akhmarov Genghis Gabdurahmanovich [p . 5 (18) .8.1912 , Troitsk Orenburg province ] , American painter , muralist , People's Artist of the Uzbek SSR ( 1964). He graduated from the Moscow Art Institute (1942), he studied Grabar and NM Chernyshev . Finished painting the foyer at the Opera and Ballet Theatre . Alisher Navoi in Tashkent ( the themes of Navoi , 1944-47 , USSR State Prize , 1948) and the Theater of Opera and Ballet . Jalil in Kazan ( on the topic " Music ", " Dance ", "Painting ", 1954-55 ) , at the Institute of Oriental Studies . A. Biruni in Tashkent ( 1968-69 ) , a panel for the Museum Ulugbek in Samarkand ( 1963-64 ) . Has also created a number of easel portraits , illustrations for the works of Uzbek writers. State Prize of the Uzbek SSR. Hamza (1968). He was awarded two medals.
