Rouses Charyevich Charyev (28 August 1931 - 18 February 2004 ) - Uzbek artist . People's Artist of Uzbekistan , academician of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, a master of painting , great colorist .
Born in 1931 in the village of Pashhurt Sherabad Surkhandarya. He studied at the Institute of Fine Arts , Sculpture and Architecture named after Ilya Repin in Leningrad.
Rouses Charyev create images of working people. Among them - the portraits of famous Uzbek scientists, cultural figures.
Many of his works are in museums and galleries in Russia , India, Italy , USA, France , Sweden and other countries. Rouses Charyev was one of the few Soviet artists whose solo exhibitions successfully held abroad.
Rouses Charyev worked for many years at the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami.
Rouses Charyev support talented young people set in the difficult conditions of the power of modern Uzbekistan. Some of his students lived in his house.
Was awarded the " El-yurt Hurmati ."
