Leon Nisenbaum - a bright representative of St. Petersburg art of the past century . Without it, it is hard to non-conformism , painting underground.
Leon Nisenbaum created his artistic style in art. He graduated LHPU them . VI Mukhina , Department of monumental and decorative painting . He was engaged in applied graphics and became one of the best masters of this kind of art. In 1956, Leon Nissenbaum becomes a member of the Union of Artists. Skill of the painter , muralist , he combined with a passion ceramic work in the genre of still life .
In the painting, he gave special attention to the color , the combination of cool colors with warm , interested in the problems of color, color rendering capabilities . His figures are born from the elements of cool colors in a collision with a black or white and retain their generality , whether the image of rabbis or houses. Today Nissenbaum works can be considered a classic of the Leningrad underground .
