Satele George E. (1917-2012)

Painter. Member of the Union of Artists. Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR , associate professor.
George Satele in 1935 . graduated from high school and enrolled at the Moscow Architectural Institute . In 1937. studied painting at the Art Studio at the All Dorokhova K. and S. Boim . Satele in 1938. posupil at the Surikov Institute, where he studied with A. Lentulova , P. Pokarzhevskogo .
In 1947 . first participated in the exhibition "Moscow in the works of artists," dedicated to the 800th anniversary of Moscow. Since then and until now participates in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad.
George Eduardovich Satele in 1951 . awarded the Stalin (later State ) Award for his film " New Topic " .
George E. in 1959 . by 1961 . taught at the Moscow Pedagogical Institute. In the 1960s - 1980s . committed multiple creative trip to Central Asia, as well as on his boat on the Volga and other rivers of Russia .
In 1973. participated in an exhibition of paintings and sculptures of Moscow Artists ' Exhibition 13 years . "
