He graduated from the Saratov Art College in 1953, participant of regional, national, regional exhibitions . Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (1976).
A.D.Panov studied with teachers and G.Ya.Melnikova A.V.Skvortsova who took P.S.Utkina manner . And he learned a lot from his older contemporary I.N.Scheglova .
His works are in the collections of Russia , Germany, Austria, the Netherlands , the United States and Israel.
