Tkachev Michael Antonovich (1912-2008)
Honored Artist of Russia (1998).
Member of Peter's Academy of Sciences and Arts (1993).
He was born on November 10, 1912 in the city of Voronezh Kalac .
In 1926, the family moved to the North Caucasus in the city of Maikop .
He studied at the Art and Technical School of Armavir ( 1930-1932 ) .
In 1932 he came to Leningrad .
He studied at art school in the evening (1932-1935) , in the art studio House of the Red Army named after S. Kirov (1935-1937) , where he taught M.Avilov , P.Naumov and Brodsky .
Member of the Union of Artists since 1952.
Since 1950 he has participated in exhibitions of Leningrad artists .
Member of International Exhibitions of Soviet art in France, Japan and the United States .
Personal exhibition in Leningrad ( 1986).
By Mikhail Tkachev are in museums in Russia and abroad , including the State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg , Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow; History Museum , St. Petersburg, etc.
