Ivan Ray worked in various genres of painting , as well as the monumental and decorative painting .

He taught in the Belarusian Theatre and Art Institute (1962-1965 ) .

Since 1964, the Belarusian Union of Artists .

Since 1988 - Honored Artist of Belarus.

The works of Ivan Ray are in the National Art Museum , the Museum of Modern Art in Minsk, the funds of the Belarusian Union of Artists , the Ministry of Culture of Russia , Literary- Memorial Museum Ya.Kolas , Belarusian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life , Vitebsk Art Museum , Mogilev Regional Art Museum .
