About the artist:

Born in 1958 in Leningrad. In 1977 he joined the artistic group "Chronicle " in the group participated in his first exhibition apartment . In 1982 Novikov created the group "New Artists" . The first members of the group became George Gur'yanov, Evgenij Kozlov , Oleg Kotelnikov , Ivan Sotnikov and Cyril Khazanovich . In 1983, the musical avant-garde artist , organized a group of " New Composers ", from the same year became associated with the orchestra "Popular Mechanics" Sergei Kuryokhin , as well as working with a group of "Cinema" as the designer of the concerts. In 1985, Timur Novikov created the Academy of Every Kind of Arts ( 1989 - New Academy of Fine Arts) . In December 1988, opened the Free University .
