On the website of the publication Spiegel reported that the robbery occurred in less than two minutes. Only work van Dongen is estimated at 1.25 million euros. What is the value of all the stolen works, not reported. The thieves entered the museum through a window. Alarm is activated, but the robbers acted very quickly and had to leave the museum. Police launched an investigation into the crime. Museum Van Buren is located in the Brussels suburb of Uccle. The art collection housed in a building from the late 1920's, owned by the family banker David Van Buren, collect art. The museum has a large collection of Flemish and Italian masters of XV-XIX centuries, in particular the work of the masters of the school of Rembrandt and two sons Pieter Brueghel the Elder.
