MEN Pierre- Jules (1810-1879) - Mene Pierre-Jules
French sculptor of animals. He studied with R. Comper and A.-L. Bari in Paris. He worked in the animal genre , created a sculptural group in terracotta , naturalistic precisely reproduce the shape of animals. Exhibited at the Salon ( since 1838 ) . His work is widely circulation ¬ strated in bronze, silver, shpiatre , cast iron, and is in many major museums around the world .
