HERZ Yuri Dmitrievich (1931-2012)

He was born on February 27, 1931 at p. Lohovo Mukachevo district, Transcarpathian region .
In 1955 he graduated from the Painting Department of the Uzhhorod School of Applied Arts .
Teachers at the specialty - I. Bokshay , Erdelyi , F. Manaylo .
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1969
Honored Artist of Ukraine ( 1990).
Winner of the National Prize of Ukraine Taras Shevchenko in 1994 .
People's Artist of Ukraine ( 2003).
