  And now my question. Acquired picture old. Signature is, but it is not clear. Who is the author? The question may seem incorrect, but is it worth to restore it?
On the back of the picture there are no records.

Apparently, a German author. I speak from a little house in the background. Artistic value of this painting at an angle of the mass of cheap and high quality of Western European paintings in the market, not high.
For me, not worth restoring.

Yes, most likely German. Signed hard to see, but something like Gresch ..., Greesh ... Restore the course you can, if you like this picture and if you want to keep it to yourself. Only now the cost of restoration can be more expensive than the picture itself.
