He studied in Berlin, Munich, Budapest and Vienna.
In 1905 he went to Paris and carried away by Fauvism and Cubism - but not for long, and then developed his own style.
During the 1-st World War, he was forced to leave France, as Bulgaria was an ally of Germany, and he visited the United States.
In 1920 he returned to Paris. Beginning in 1925, his life - a continuous journey: he lives in Italy, the United States, Spain, Portugal ...
In 1930 he committed suicide. the day of the vernissage of his exhibition in a Paris gallery.
