Actually this is work - a portrait of the artist's wife.
There is even a legend about this painting (which HORROR ON WHERE WAS MY critical UM I believe :):))
It was in 1941 ...:) Fascists were already near Minsk, were the massive bombardment))) and Oscar Mariks (naturally taking advantage of their privileged position there any popular and highly respected thin.) Was forced to evacuate themselves to safer area. According to this legend, this is the only work of the artist that he wanted to save from all that he had done before 1941. (30 + years of creative activity)

Most of the works done in mixed media (gouache akv. tsv.karandashi ...) on cardboard, at least on paper. Oscar P. Mariks very rarely depart from the "theater" in his work, and therefore retained very little of his paintings, most of which are now in museums in the city of Minsk. But the work presented here suggests that each sketch is completely independent, holistic work of art.
