Got a special art education at the Moscow State Art Institute. Surikov, who graduated in 1955. Collaborated with mnochislennye publishers, among them: "Children's Literature", "News", "The Young Guard", "Vita Nova", "Foreign Literature". Since 1967 - member of numerous Russian and international art exhibitions. From 1970 - Member of the Union of Artists. For the drawings to the book by J. Harris "Tales of Uncle Remus" I received a diploma degree Union competition "The best edition of 1976," the silver medal at the International Book Fair in Leipzig (1977), the prize "Golden Apple" at the VI Biennale illustrations of children's books in Bratislava (1977). With his illustrations (black-and-white and color) are out books by L. Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Alice in Wonderland" (1974-1979, 1980, 1982, 1988, 1992, 1999). In 2002, Mr. Kalinowski was the holder of a diploma Ivan Fedorov for the drawings to the book of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland"; in the same year won the Grand Prix XV Moscow International Book Fair for his illustrations for the book of M. Bulgakov's "Master and Margarita". In 2005 he won the "Scarlet Sails" for the illustrations to the book by J. Swift's "Gulliver's Travels". Gennady Kalinovskiy documented and illustrated more than a hundred books of domestic and foreign authors. |
