Of full-scale school class went to the studio Tenisheva , where he taught Repin and Dmitriev Caucasus . At the same time engaged in etching at the Academy of Fine Arts under Professor . VV Mate .
During the revolution of 1905 was one of the founders of the first revolutionary satirical magazine " The Spectator ."
In 1906 he went to Munich , where he worked with Professor . G. Knirra .
On his return to St. Petersburg became a member of the exhibitions " Spring " New Islands, itinerant , "World of Art".
Member of AChRs from the base ( 1922 ) , a member of its exhibitions.
He took part in the exhibitions on the fifth and tenth anniversary of the Red Army.
