Here's a picture (photo 1 and 2) :
The paper /pencil . 18 x 11.5 cm On the back (bottom ) the signature in pencil: I read as P. Charibine (?) Could this be the Paul Anisimovich Kharybin ( 1890 - after 1930 )? http://artinvestment.ru/auctions/125470 In 1918 , if I remember correctly, he went to France , died in Marseilles (?) If you have more information about it , share, please . Published several letters to his PD Ettinger , but light on his biography, it does not shed . Thank you! In the web found a couple of his drawings (one , by the way , the signature is Charibine, and not Kharybin, as specified in the database AI) : Photo 3 , 4 http://www.russianartandbooks.com/cg...rt/04437R.html |
Paul Kharybin
Good afternoon. I am the grandson of Paul Anisimovicha .
Grandfather died , unfortunately, not in Marseilles , and at a stage when they were unloaded from the hold of the ship in the grids. He was arrested on false charges and sentenced . My father Kharybin Kirill Pavlovich gave me to read the response from the KGB to his request . The reply stated that the PA Kharybin was rehabilitated posthumously. Wife Kharybina part A - Margaret Michaelis Maksimilianovna - http://lib.rus.ec/a/204723 regards Kharybin Igor K. |
Scream, thank you very much for your answer! I'm sorry it took so long was not in the subject - just now saw it.
If you have the opportunity , please tell us about his grandfather . I think the participants and guests of the forum would be interested to learn more about the tragically perished in the Gulag good Russian artist Pavel Anisimoviciu Kharybina . Also, if you have any graphic materials , it would be great if you could show them here . Thank you again ! P.S. Do you think that I presented figure could be exercised by Paul Anisimovich ? |
Hello
Author picture number 3 and number 4 - PA Kharybin (P.Charibin, this signature is under his work . But there are drawings signed by P. Kharybin ) Figures that I am writing included in the collection of his works. Figures published in an edition of 500 numbered copies . Publishing year 1918 . On the other papers grandfather I unfortunately do not know. He was born in Ryazan region into a peasant family . He lived with his family ( he , his wife and two sons . One of them is my father) in Moscow , close to the Kropotkinskaya in a communal flat. Denounced by a neighbor was arrested. And as he once traveled abroad with exhibitions , reward him ten years without the right of correspondence, it was not difficult . CHSIR family announced . Grandmother narrowly escaped arrest by fleeing to Chuvashia with his sons. During her escape, one of his sons (my father) has run away from her and remained in Moscow , joining the army of street thugs . Went on to become a famous journalist in the Far East Radio " Pacific Ocean" . That's all I can say. Sincerely , Ivan Kharybin P.S Scan the drawings unfortunately not possible . Since the book will not sustain this procedure. |

So, the promised scans :
Correspondence Moscow connoisseur and collector of graphics P. D. Ettinger (1866-1948) with the artist , PA Kharybina ( 1890 - after 1930) In 2004, the Pushkin Museum. Pushkin was a great show from the collection of (this is his portrait painted Mavrina B.Surisa from the collection now resides at show in the " Galeev Gallery" ), I I can not remember now , but surely there were works Kharybina . Accompanied by a catalog of the exhibition - I do not remember . Had , of course. Itself , this collection is stored in the Pushkin Museum . The most amazing thing is that the official website of the Pushkin Museum (in particular the section 's personal collection ) there is almost no clear mention of Paul Davidovich , also lined with works from his collection . With that, at least twelve thousand works from his collection came in the Pushkin Museum in 1949, shortly after his death. All this is at least strange ... |
So, a few years ago there was a show, it seems the "Museum of Paul Ettinger"

Here , the site said - and the catalog was (should have to get ) ) But about Paul himself Davidovich and his collection. Modest , is not it ? Two words and a few posters . With that, his collection of more than ten thousand units of the most famous works of graphics and painting of a gorgeous Semashkevich , Schipitsyn , Sinezub , etc. Where is all this? " Under Lock and Key " ... ( ( Hopefully, with the arrival of a respected Marina Lochak situation will change , and the name Oettinger, the museum will take its rightful place allotted to him . |
