Full member of the USSR Academy of Arts (1962). People's Artist of the USSR ( 1962). Honored Artist of the RSFSR ( 1957). Winner of the Lenin Prize in 1967 for his series of paintings " New quarters " , winner of the State Prize in 1947 and 1950 . for theater sets . Received a gold medal for the panel " Stakhanovite movement " in the Soviet pavilion at the International Exhibition in Paris in 1937 In the late 30 's and early 40 's. created a series of illustrations for books SJ Marshak , V.
