Exhibition of the Society of Friends of the Rumyantsev Museum, 1915
 

After a series of art exhibitions which have developed before the audience a vivid and remarkably complete picture of the current state of Russian art, newly established and very nice "Society of Friends of the Rumyantsev Museum" has organized the exhibition of paintings by masters of the past. Of the number of private collections assembled over two hundred paintings by old masters of Western European painting, created a kind of small works from the Hermitage old Italians, French, Spanish, Flemish and Dutch, as Bellini, Karachi, Longhi, Greuze, Watteau, Denner, Ryuisdal etc. The purpose of the exhibition, of course, the charity - in favor of victims of war, Serbs and Montenegrins.
