Ukrainian painter , a wonderful draftsman. He was born in Odessa. ORSH graduated (1877 ), studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts in studio of Klodt and V. Orlov (1878 - 1889). Received medals : small and large silver (1884 - 1886) , a small gold (1887) and a gold (1888) , the title of the class artist grade 1 (1889). Retired Arts Abroad ( 1890 - 1893). He has participated in exhibitions since 1890 ( AH, TYURH , OPA, the Company Kharkov artists , etc.). In 1900, was exhibited at the World Exhibition in Paris. From 1893 he worked mainly in Ukraine. Taught ( from 1904) in the drawing school in Kharkov. He painted landscapes (oil , watercolor). Solo exhibitions in Kharkov (1906 , 1938 , 1962). Paintings are in major Ukrainian and Russian museums.
