Russian painter, graphic artist , watercolorist . Born in with. Bui , Kostroma province. A nephew of the famous writer Pisemsky. In 1878 - 1890 he studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts in the class of landscape painting in M. Klodt and J. Clover . During his studies he was awarded the large and small silver medals. In 1890 received the title of class artist first degree. Since 1883 he has exhibited works at exhibitions OVHP , oh MOLH , OPA and other Member and exhibitor OPH , Petersburg Island artists. Full member of the Islands " Myussarovskie Monday." He taught at the School of Drawing OPH (1895 - 1913). He lived in St. Petersburg. In 1890 he traveled to North Africa. In 1914, a memorial exhibition was held in St. Petersburg. Wrote mainly landscapes, worked in watercolor . To book illustration . Presented in TG , Ulyanovsk, Penza XM and many others.
