On the recommendation of A. Osmerkin, E. Skuin in 1934 accepted to the third year of arts, where she was to study with Semion Abugov, Genrikh Pavlovsky, Dmitry Mitrokhin. In 1939 she graduated with honors from the Institute in Alexander Osmerkin workshop.
Since the mid-1960s in the beautiful solution works E. Skuin played a leading role decorative color stain that specifies the nature of the whole composition. Her manners characteristic to be bright and saturated colors, exquisite color matching, a wide letter, intensified over the years, the decorative and upbeat attitude.
In 1989-1992 after the death of E. P. Skuin her works have been successfully presented at exhibitions and auctions of Russian art L' Ecole de Leningrad and others in France.
